Do You Ever Feel Overwhelmed?

I do. Right now. Which is why my blogging has been sporadic at best lately. The sad part is there's no REAL reason for me to feel this way. I just feel like I want to stay in bed and sleep. But I don't. I get up and I work, and write, and blog and play with my girl, and help my hubby with his school work and try to clean the house and plan for the future (which sounds silly, but lately I've been doing a lot of planning).

So I guess there is a lot going on, but I don't feel like it should be THIS overwhelming. But I guess I'm not seventeen anymore. I don't have the energy I used to, and as for MENTAL energy, oh boy, that's scary.

But I just wanted to say thank you to all of you wonderful readers and bloggers and cyber-friends. It makes me smile so big to see your sweet comments and funny stories. Thanks for helping lessen the...overwhelmingness...of my life. (I made up a word just for this occasion).

Hope you're all doing well!

  1. kadie, not to worry you, but that sounds like mild depression. i have observed a lot of depression through close friends and family members. you might want to add a new challenge to your routine...make sure you're getting outside for at least 15 minutes a day and exercising. loves, lee

  2. Lee, You're sweet. I even thought while I was writing this, "Hmm, people are going to think I'm depressed." I'm not, really. (Trust me, been there. This isn't the same). There's a lot of good in my life right now and I'm not SAD. Just tired. Thanks for the advice though. I really appreciate it. :)

  3. Not you too! Hugs to you, we'll make it by golly. Not that a vacation of some sort wouldn't help;)

  4. Everyone goes through a stage like this, don't worry. But on the totally bright side, when you do get back into the swing of things, it feels even better than before. ;)

  5. Life does go in cycles, and I'm glad you've said this isn't depression because that could be an issue. If it isn't, then soak up all the good things you can, make sure you are eating right and getting enough sleep, and exercising, too, if you can. Those things can make a big difference. But whatever you do, always take time to breathe when you feel overwhelmed like this. And know you have friends rooting for you!
